Playground

Our newly extended and upgraded playgrounds provide abundant spaces for students to engage in active and imaginative play and serve as places to build positive relationships with others. Our playgrounds include large, grassy areas for running games, shady passive play areas and climbing equipment. We have courts for basketball, netball and handball.

Library

The students and staff at St Bernard’s have access to a brand-new library. Students can use our well-resourced library for a range of learning purposes. We are committed to providing students with the tools, resources and facilities needed to maximise their learning, creativity and co-curricular opportunities.

Before and After School Care

This service is available on-site and is provided by Star Club. They offer a chance for children to learn and play in a fun and supportive environment. Every day there are extraordinary activities for children to discover, learn and play.

Technology

Our school has a Bring Your Own Digital Device (BYODD) policy for students from Year 3 to Year 6. Our designated device is the Google Chromebook. The school is equipped with additional hardware, including newly acquired Chromebooks for the younger grades, as well as iPads for use by all students.

The students enjoy many hours of active play on our newly lined basketball and netball courts.

COLA

Our Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) provides a well-utilised space for outdoor concerts, assemblies, incursions, PE activities and games.

Grassed Area

Our newly acquired landscaped grass area and resurfaced artificial grass area is a welcome addition to our school environment.

Canteen

An online ordering system is available from “Botany Bites” through Flexischools for lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The school canteen is open Thursday for the students to purchase healthy snacks.

Our gardens not only create a beautiful external environment but also allow our students to learn beyond the classroom.
